Let The Internet Go Out

Today at around 4:30pm, the internet went out. There was no outage reported in our area (thanks phone for still allowing internet access) and all that was needed was a simple reset of the router. But it was out for enough time to bring all the activity in the house to a screeching halt.

Work stopped. Streaming stopped. Scrolling stopped.

And it was annoying, but also kinda nice. Next time I might be tempted to really struggle with turning it back on, and force myself to go for a walk, or pick up a book, or check on my plants (if any are left alive after such neglect). The point is, sometimes when somethings stop, it gives you a chance to start something even better.
