Bold Opinion
This week at the start of our team meeting we checked in about everything that we've been watching - from the new Little Mermaid movie to the series finale of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel to the recently released trailer for The Color Purple. What began as an innocent discussion escalated quickly when one of us (not naming names to protect their BOLD opinion) voiced that she would not be seeing the new Little Mermaid... or (gasp) the new The Color Purple. "I get why people are excited about these, and I'm happy for them, but doesn't Hollywood have any new ideas? We already have told these stories - I want something new."
Like we said - bold opinion. Not shared by all of us, but it is an interesting thought.
Dear reader, what do you think about the reboots? Do they need to get the boot? Or should really good stories be told and re-told for new audiences and new generations?
